A Mortise-Type Cam Hinge for use with EMI/RFI and sound-insulating doors utilizing acoustical seals. The weight of soundproof doors will vary depending on size and STC rating. The modest amount of lift permits problem-free use with doors equipped with overhead closers and electric door operators. The cam action greatly improves the sealing characteristics along the door perimeter, lifting and lowering the door with the swing. It is made of investment cast stainless steel and precision machined to accept a hardened pin.

LE51 is designed for doors weighing up to 500 lbs. The Cam Lift Hinge is available for right or left-hand swinging doors. Specify hand when ordering. Cam Lift Hinge will not bind door closures when doors are hung within accepted industry standards.
